The Sun's Tea

Erin Yoo

It’s ever so fitting
When the sun makes its own tea
I feel blinded under the coarse screen
It’s almost like a fantastical reality

What does that mean though?
With a sprightly lead door
A couple of inches away, but nonetheless away

Why?

              Can’t even tamed birds sing?
