Poetry: "Remember"
by Ruby Seidner
Remember
by Ruby Seidner

Breathe in
Breath out
Forget how stout you look
Breath in
Breath out
Forgot how much you doubt
Breath in
breath out
Focus on the good
Breath in
Breath out
Remember that you could once and that you can again
Remember the people that held you up
Remember that you will have that again
That it will take time
Remember that your blood will continue to flow
Remember that you will continue to grow
And your body will continue to know when your mind wants to explode
Remember that this too shall pass
And that sometimes the key to your mind forgetting the feelings of being in fight or flight
Your body needs to remember
